'The Brothers Garcia' Revival Series 'The Garcias' Drops Trailer, Reveals HBO Max Premiere Date

HBO Max has dropped the trailer for their upcoming show The Garcias, the revival series of the 2000s Nickelodeon sitcom The Brothers Garcia. The series is set to premiere on April 14. The original, groundbreaking series is credited as the first English-language sitcom to have an all Latinx cast and creative team.”

Sol Trujillo executive produces along with the creative director and showrunner Jeff Valdez. The EP duo produces under their New Cadence Productions banner.

All members of the original The Brothers Garcia reprise their roles, including Ada Maris as Sonia Garcia, Carlos Lacamara as Ray Garcia, Alvin Alvarez as Larry Garcia, Jeffrey Licon as Carlos Garcia, Bobby Gonzalez as George Garcia and Vaneza Pitynski as Lorena Garcia.

New cast members are Oliver Alexander as Max Garcia, Nitzia Chama as Ana Garcia, Paul Rodriguez, Jr. as Julian Ramirez, Maeve Garay as Victoria Garcia, Elsha Kim as Yunjin Huh Garcia, Ayva Severy as Andrea Huh Garcia and Trinity Jo-Li Bliss as Alexa Huh Garcia. 

The official description reads, “The Garcias chronicles an American family based in San Antonio, TX, who are gathered for a summer vacation in their fancy beach house in Mexico."
