The highly acclaimed hit show, “The Brothers Garcia,” ran from 2000-2003. It was a multi-award winning show for it’s non-stereotypical portrayal of a family that just happed to be Latinx.
In the new version of “The Garcias”, we jump forward 15 years. The Garcia kids are grown ups and some them even have kids of their own. The new series, like the original, will continue to be a “slice of life” single camera comedy about a family that, in spite of all it’s flaws, remains supportive and committed to each other.
A single Mexican American Latina from New York, unable to take the stress of corporate life in the Big Apple, goes off the grid and moves to Tulum, a small Mexican beach town where she opens her own bed and breakfast business. After she hires her new staff, she quickly realizes she is not as “Mexican” as she thinks and that problems aren’t exclusive to big cities.
Alexa Cruz is an 18 year-old undergrad at Stanford, who lives with her Uncle Gabriel, a 37 year-old tech billionaire who opens a start up incubator in his massive garage. Gabriel, is married to Li Linn, the “Tiger Mom“ of their two tween kids, Tiffany and John. Tiffany is the flawless product of her mother’s helicopter parenting. John is the smartest one in the family, but a non-participant in the lifestyles of the uber rich and dysfunctional.
A woman, who owns a Mexican restaurant, is our front row seat into the lives of her three very different adult children and their families: her oldest daughter, a conservative Christian, along with her quirky husband and children, her middle daughter, a greedy venture capitalist along with her metrosexual husband, and her youngest son, a fledgling artist from Venice Beach and his wife and kids. Issues of race and religion are the centerpieces of this contemporary comedy.

Tele-Visión is a mid-sized Spanish language broadcast network that has aspirations to unseat the larger networks. You would never know that Tele-Visión is an aspiring network, by the optics of its CEO, Jose Spielberg. He wears expensive suits and drives a Ferrari. His channel however, is located in a run down industrial park in San Fernando, California.
The President Pro Tempore, suddenly ascends to the highest office, when the President, Vice President, and Speaker Of The House all die in a freak accident involving a wall. He shocks everyone, when he reveals he is gay and has a very outgoing partner. They are now going to occupy the White House.

Three old friends, once known as the Creative Kings of Madison Avenue, try to stage a comeback after falling on hard times. The three old friends create a commercial campaign that becomes a huge hit, which affords them another day in the sun as they once again become the darlings of Madison Avenue.
Rudy Foster and Max Martinez are two best friends, who end up going on an extremely unique trip. They go to a small Mexican village that has no men living there, and that is totally populated by women. What begins as two kids in a candy store, turns into a true romance for Max and an opportunity for the two of them to restore the village to its previous grandeur.
Two Latino roommates are professional mascots. They work in a variety of genres from sports to kiddie parties to make ends meet. They have no personal lives; they have no friends, only each other. Together, they take us into the dark underbelly of the world of mascots.
A Romantic Comedy about a Mexican American stand up comedian from Los Angeles, who experiences “love at first sight” with a rich girl, who is originally from Mexico and works in Washington D.C. When she brings him to Mexico City to meet her family, he is truly a fish out of water and has to contend with her wealthy family as well as her arrogant ex-fiancé.
Max, a young comedian makes his living opening for impossible music acts in the mid 80’s. The audiences that come to see Ted Nugent, Wall Of Voodoo and Frank Zappa are less than friendly towards the opening act. At night, Max gets to party like a rock star only to go back the next day to his small two bedroom house that is dominated by his stoner roomie.
A smart con man who is running a makeshift law firm in prison becomes the subject of a bet between the warden of the prison and Dean of Yale University. The terms are, he has to survive One L (first year law school). He leaves one institution for a different, yet similar institution.
